My fiber pieces got a lot of interest at Texas Metal Arts so I decided to expand on that line. These pieces are made from Japanese silks and cottons that my mom had in her collection (thanks mom!). The fiber pieces that I had made before were made with needle felted silk and wool that mom did, so they were more of a collaboration. I definitely want to use more of her fiber, but for this application we found the fabric that she made to be too thick. I plan to expand on this collection some more, these are just the first batch of a new series. I will have these with me this weekend in San Antonio, so come check them out!

I love these pieces!
Ash, these are beautiful. I want to buy now! Are they on your etsy site?
Thank you! G, I don't have them on Etsy yet, and probably won't til November. I'll let you know what is available after my show, or I can make you a custom one! xoxo
o. my! that necklace! i love love love love these! you're brilliant and i love how you keep doing fresh new things........do you think if i got that necklace that roxie would wipe her nose on it? maybe i would just wear it once she's retired for the evening?
Fantastic. I've never seen anything like it. This is a very exciting development for you --- I predict big things!
Thanks everyone! I didn't sell any of these pieces this weekend, though I did trade a set with a fellow jewelry artist. I got a lot of interest online from my peers, which I think is a good sign, so I will be further pursuing this collection!
those are really cool Ash- I'll bet they sell like hotcakes!
