I'm Back!

I took a few pictures of my booth and displays, and that is all I had time to photograph! It was a busy, crazy and tiring trip, but I have to call it a success. I met wonderful and friendly artists from all over the country, learned a ton about this business, and realized repeatedly how wonderful my parents are to me!

Mom, dad and I headed down to San Antonio on Thursday for Fiesta. We camped in the airstream at Alamo Koa, which was an experience. Friday morning we set up the booth on the grounds of the Southwest Center for Arts and Crafts. The staff and volunteers there are wonderful and really treat the artists great. I think I chose wisely for my first out of town show, and I felt very proud to have been chosen to participate.
I did a couple of trades with my fellow artisans and I will post pictures of those soon. I was amazed how far and wide the artists travel from to do this show. It felt great to be a part of a show that is all about the art.
Dad made all of these beautiful displays for me! They looked really great. I finished the necklace pictured above the night before the show started.

You have reason to feel good about what you're doing. I'm glad Dad and I can help and I love my new ring and earrings. xoxo, Mom
