I ended up with extra yarn. However, I didn't want to have to leave off any of the lace pattern. The lace especially grows a lot after blocking. Now I am thinking of frogging the whole border and two rows and then doing the border over. I am just wondering though how much the shawl will grow when I block the noro yarn? How many rows is the one you made for your mother? It is beautiful.
