Opinions Please...

I have been wanting to make my photos for etsy more dynamic and three dimensional. I was at a loss for what to do until today. I am experimenting with some props, including river rocks and a aqua vase. I kind of love that the vase is the same color as my paper backdrop. What do you think, successful, or not?

I love the way both pairs of earrings turned out, but I don't think the bracelet image has enough contrast.
The blue and the green backgrounds really compliment the silver.

Good point. My problem was that I only had a big enough piece of paper in the black!

i really like pebble ones b/c they go so well w/ all of your pebble items - they seem like a very logical choice! They are also great as far as just using one or using many if needed, as an actual prop, or just sitting in the background of the shop.

though i like the blue vase (and the the earring photo is fabulous), it seems a little disjointed from the rest of your shop.

I would second both of those comments! The bottom image is beautiful, the green and blue backgrounds are gorgeous and really *pop*. Looking at your shop, the background colors are really dynamic and pull it all together nicely. I'd stick with just the simple stones and colored backdrops as props, it is very successful as is!

I love the background with the stones. It's a great simple backdrop without detracting from the product.
