Well, sort of new. I got them in San Francisco at a student art sale. I just love them. I finally got dressed up and went out, so I had a chance to wear them. They are cast from something organic, not sure what. They are by Cassia Appel.




I also wore my favorite tshirt. It's by Muttsy Wonder. I love it becauase it is soft, organic and has my favorite colors.

I've been watching my hearts pretty closely. I was edging up there near 1,000 and kept checking in. Then I left town and missed the opportunity to get a screen shot when I hit 1,000. But here I am at 1,004, and I'm thrilled. It took a while, but I finally got there.

Kiddo Christmas Gifts

I got these wonderfully whimsical screen printed alphabet posters from StrawberryLuna of etsy. These went to a few of the kiddos on my gift list and were well received. I just love them, I'd take one of each if I had a big enough wall to hang them all on!

Dad got a couple of cool handmade Christmas gifts too. I made him this bracelet with a leather band. I am really happy with how it turned out. The bigger piece of turquoise in the center has the brown of the leather so it all went together nicely.



He also got this wonderful painting by Pamela of Pamelam.etsy.com. He has chickens and he loved the painting. The colors are fabulous and the painting is wonderfully detailed. Thanks Pamela!

Modern Charm Rules!

I got these wonderful makeup bags from Modern Charm for Christmas gifts. I love the fabrics, and they are quite well made. They were also larger than I expected which was nice. I was able to fit a soap from Brooklyn Street Soap Co., and a pair of earrings in each one. These made great gifts for the ladies in my life! Thanks Modern Charm.

Handmade Gifts

I took the handmade pledge before Christmas and I think I did pretty well. I wanted to show off some of the great gifts that I got from talented etsy sellers. These three were all made by Natasha of Luxe. Mom got the circular scarf in Autumn, the center ones are actually mine, and Gretchen got a neckwarmer. I've gotten stuff from Natasha in the past and it is always so fun to go through her flickr pages and pick out the yarn you like for a custom piece.

I'm off to a good start, getting new jewelry done, and finishing up all those unfinished pieces. I thought I'd share this picture of my old lady Malta sitting on my lap at my computer. She didn't stay long, but it was pretty cute.
