Yeah, that's right. They have oats, cranberries and pecans, so that's healthy breakfast food, right? I'm recovering from a crazy week and didn't have anything to make for breakfast this morning.
Frank and I hosted an open house/jewelry sale here yesterday. We haven't done much entertaining, this being only the second time in seven years since we moved into our home. It turned out really well. Great friends and family shared a good time.
As soon as I clean up the mess in the kitchen I will take photos of my beautifully redone space.

I have to thank my generous mother for making lovely curtains for our lower kitchen cabinets. She was here til midnight on Friday sewing them up and I feel mighty lucky indeed. I spent the evening making Christmas cookies. I made Coconut macaroons, Cocoa kiss cookies, German Drop cookies, and these Oat bars. It was the most I had ever baked in my own kitchen, as we usually do Christmas cookies at mom's house. My space is definitely more limited, but I must say I really enjoyed it!

I had Cranberry oatmeal cookies for breakfast this week too!
Oh good, I'm glad I'm not the only one!
